If you’re the sole technical communicator in your department or organization or if you work in a small team, this is the STC SIG for you! Joining is easy and there are several benefits.
The STC Lone Writer SIG offers the following benefits to its members:
- The SIG’s two mailing lists, stclwrsig-l and loners_OT
- The SIG’s newsletter, Solitary Scrivener
- Access to the members-only portions of this site
- SIG events at the society conference
To join the SIG, do one of the following:
- Select the STC Lone Writer SIG as one of your complementary special interest groups when applying for or renewing your society membership.
- Download the STC Membership Change/Upgrade Form (in Adobe PDF). Then complete the form, circling “Lone Writer” in the list of special interest groups, and submit it with the $5 US fee to the society.
If you are not a member of STC, complete a membership application to join the society.
